Xianqi is a JC1 student at Hwa Chong Institution (College Section) in Singapore with a deep fascination for both the stars above and the communities on the ground. She is currently learning sign language to better bridge the Deaf and hearing communities, and enjoys working across cultures to build meaningful connections — something she hopes to extend to her role in SEAYAN. Beyond astronomy, she takes an active interest in economics and current affairs, driven by curiosity about how systems, whether social or scientific, shape the world.
